Founder · Infrastructure
Stephen has spent 16 years designing, building and supporting technology infrastructure across every industry, including data centers. His work includes technology infrastructure for the AWS hyperscale data center project in New Carlisle, Indiana, and the Windstream and CenturyLink fiber backbone build across Iowa and Illinois. He also owns Nerdz, a managed IT services company in Clinton.
Planning and risk
Kevin brings eight years of planning commission experience and more than a decade in insurance and bonds. That background helps on both sides of a project review: how zoning decisions get made, and the financial assurances, such as bonds and insurance requirements, that development agreements rely on.
Operations
Jessica brings operational experience managing day-to-day operations. At HIG, she keeps engagements organized and on schedule, from first contact through the final report.
How we work
We don't take positions for or against projects. Findings are the same no matter who engages us.
We work from primary sources: state code, local ordinances and the project record, and we cite them.
Reports separate what can be verified from what is judgment or projection, so readers can weigh each for themselves.
